| Gore Mountain is located in New York's Adirondack Mountains, a 6.3-million acre park, which is the largest state park in the country. It was established in 1964 by the State of New York and managed by the Olympic Regional Development Authority. Gore Mountain had the first ski patrol, first recorded ski race and first T-bar in the United States. | |
